Mollie's turn #3

greetings from cambodia! our first day was very fun. we had our first ride on a tuk tuk. for those of you who do not know what that is, it is like a rikshaw being towed by a motor scooter/motorcycle. it was really great and now we have our own personal driver :) the roads are pretty crazy but everyone seems to get along. so crazy is that sometimes people drive on the wrong side of the road, people are walking in the middle of the street, and there are almost no stop signs or signals. the good thing is that every one is really nice and they don't go that fast :) ok so that was only the streets.... 
when we arrived we were welcomed by someone holding a sign that said Ms. Stephanie Barnes :) that was cool it felt like we were in a movie! Oh ya! then we rode in the van through the crazy streets and finally got to our hotel. it is a really cool, modern type hotel that is really clean and every one is very nice.  we started to walk around the city and check out stuff, take pictures, and just navigate the city. the first stop was at a restaurant called friends. it was really good! it is a little place that supports the people living on the streets. right next door to that we found a place that mama and i can get our nails done and a foot message for only like three dollars! after we checked that place out we went to the national museum. it had lots of Buddhas and a very peaceful court yard. there were monks that were really nice. also there were fish ponds and wherever you walked around that pond they would follow you because they wanted food. it was really cool! ok so then this morning mama and i woke up at like 4:45 and went on to the roof to see the sunrise. it was beautiful over the river and it was already hot outside! there were lots of people out walking, running, doing tai chi , playing bad mitten, soccer, and aerobics. this is a very athletic place.  when we were eating breakfast and elephant walked by! AN ELEPHANT!!!! IT WAS SO WEIRD!!! ok so thats all for now, soon we will be having some pictures and the video of the elephant up. :)
